Writing
- Fanfiction.net—The best place to read fanfiction of all kinds: anime, movies, tv shows, etc. You know, if you're into that kind of thing.
- DelRey—In my opinion, one of the best fantasy book publishers. They're also the home of author Susan Dexter, a personal favorite of mine.
- Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America—Whether you're a fan, a beginner, or an established writer, this page is immensely informative. Check out the myriad links, articles, and newsletters for some interesting viewpoints on sci-fi and fantasy writing.
- Merriam-Webster—My dictionary and thesaurus of choice.
- Encylopedia Mythica—Need an exotic-sounding name for a character, but still want it to have meaning? Go to the Encyclopedia Mythica and peruse their amazingly huge database of myths, legends, and folktales. Fascinating stuff.
Fairie and Fantasy Links
- Fairie Festival at Spoutwood Farms—Every spring, this festival comes to life just outside of York, Pennsylvania. It's surprisingly large, extremely friendly, and a whole lot of fun for everyone. Don't forget your fairie wings!
- Fairy Music—Fairies and new-age music go together like...well, like fairies and new-age music! Gary Stadler has composed several albums of lovely synthesizer music with delicate fairie themes.
- Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire—My home state's Renaissance Faire, and one of the best. Bring a lot of money if you go, though. It ain't cheap!
- Maryland Renaissance Faire—I visited this one for the first time in 2002. It's huge, covered with mulch, and has no shortage of eats! Oh, and if the duo "Hack and Slash" are there, definitely take in a show. Those guys are hilarious.
- New York Renaissance Faire—I've only ever been here when it was raining, but it seems like a fantastic festival. Set in the midst of lush mountains and stunning scenery. Can't wait to go next year! Pray for sun!
- 8-Bit Theater—This Web-comic has little to do with fairies, but plenty to do with fantasy—namely, the Final Fantasy role-playing games. It's absolutely hilarious, even if you haven't played the games. Fantasy parody at its best.
- Order of the Stick—Funny! Go see, especially if you play D&D.

- Lost Soleil—If you like beautiful boys kissing (and who doesn't?), then you've got to see Leigh's work!
- Lauren Nicolo—Lauren is the exceptional artist who created several sketches of my characters on the media page. Go take a look at her portfolio and bask in her amazing talent!
- Estrigious Art Studio—I absolutely adore these gals' art. I'm particularly fond of Jen Quick's fantabulous original manga, Soul Union—so much so that I'm planning on cosplaying as one of her characters at the next anime convention.
- Novablade
- A Different Drum
- Interflex, Inc.—This is where I used to work. If you're interested in Web site design, consultation, or e-mail marketing, give them a call!
